Classic Manhattan Loft Available for Photo and Video Shoots

The Armory Loft is a classic Manhattan loft featuring 4200 square feet of space including two distinct shooting/staging areas, a conference area, and a full kitchen.  The space features high ceilings, hard wood floors, exposed brick walls and both a passenger elevator and a large freight elevator that opens directly into the space.  We have a large selection of grip equipment available on site as well as a limited amount lighting equipment available for rental.  Basic grip is included in the rental fee. Daily and weekly rentals are available. At Armory Loft we pride ourselves in being helpful and attentive.

Location: 

We are centrally located in the NoMad district of Manhattan close to restaurants, prop houses, the flower district, Eataly, a block away from Madison Square Park.   

Parking and Transportation:

There are several parking garages close by and we are a few blocks from the 4,5,6,N and R trains as well as numerous Citibike docking stations.

Natural Light

The space faces North and has natural north light that you can use or block out. Because we face the Armory Roof, there are no tall buildings across from us.

Studio Access

Crew can use the building’s standard or freight elevator to access the studio. The equipment can be loaded through the large service elevator which opens directly into the space.

Electrical

We have a 200 amp service with 20 amp dedicated plugs throughout the shooting areas.

House Rules

• No Smoking in the building. Service Elevator hours 8:30 - 4:30. Passenger Elevator 24hrs

• All ages are allowed in the space

• Production insurance is required

• Most Furniture and decor may be moved to suit your needs (All returned to it’s original position after the shoot of course)

• Nudity is allowed
